What Language Support Does Arden Offer?

This event is part 1 of 'Arden's English Language Support: A Summer Series of Events'.
Are you interested in studying a degree in English? As an university which is proud to have students from over 140 countries, our aim is to ensure that education is as accessible as possible. This session will be delivered by our English Language Hub team - they are dedicated to supporting students who may not speak English as their first language and provide expert knowledge throughout your studies. Arden University Virtual Open Day: Meet our Staff

You are invited to attend Arden’s last virtual open day before the September intake! Arden runs virtual open days throughout the year to allow you to ask questions about the application process and to find out how you could progress in your career journey after studying with us. It is a great way to find out more about the university, no matter where you live, what you do or where you are in your application journey. If you can’t attend live, you can still register and receive the recording! This open day will consist of three short talks from our key departments, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers:
- Introduction to Arden, how to apply and what to expect after application?
- Information for international students: fees, funding, entry requirements
- What general support is there for students? What opportunities are there after university? What if English is not your first language or you are returning to education after a break?
- Q&A session

Learning Success at University: How to Build Academic Skills

What is the Learning Success Hub? At Arden, our library service, academic skills tutors and the English Language Hub are part of the Learning Success Hub. These essential services are designed to support Arden students throughout their time at the university. This public event aims to give applicants or those in the pre-application stage a chance to gain some insight into what support students have and to ask questions related to studying and learning at the university.
